These people want to run the internet
and they can't get stable internet connections for the hotel they are holding the conference. I am not for US domination of the internet, nor the UN, I think ICANN is best served by being independent of both. That said the UN's incompetence speaks volumes about why they should never have control of the servers. This is without delving into the free speech issues.
