Okay, more like hops, but it was going to be beer. The US is such a large hop producer I doubt we will notice impact at your local pub, but us homebrewers may notice a slight bump in the price of our hops in the next few months.

ps - Some one on the Brewing Network noticed the following...

"Federal investigators were set Tuesday to begin an investigation into a fire that ruined about 4 percent of America's yield of hops, used as flavoring in the brewing of beer and ale."


Beer and ale, funny I always thought ale was a kind of beer, just goes to show you what happens with you send a unknowledgable reporter to write a story.
