View Article  The Road Not Taken
Generally for Poetry Wednesday I try to pick something with imagination and creativity, not the same old poem people constantly cite, all that being said, it's my blog and I can break that rule if I want to. This poem is overused, overcited, but it is also rather good. Since I am heading towards my own Walden Pond o' sorts it just fits.
The Road Not Taken Two roads diverged in a yellow wood, And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair, And having perhaps the better claim, Because it was grassy and wanted wear; Though as for that, the passing there Had worn them really about the same, And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads to way, I doubted if I should ever come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I- I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. - Robert Frost

You hope for the level of political debate to be raised and then you see a funeral turned into a pep rally, sad. No matter who does it it's just inappropriate.

I'm a Homebrewer, BJCP Judge and Writer. I want to understand the Art of Beer, but appreciate the Science that makes it happen. Perhaps most importantly I want to have fun on the way.
