I just noticed that the DNC is issuing press credentials to bloggers. I hope the RNC does likewise, if they do I think I'll be going to New York. I have had this itch inside me of late wanting to go to the convention even though I had a horrible time at the last one. I figure if I can go as a blogger and cover the convention I'll have a good time and will not have to deal with a lot of the BS that bothered me last time. Jeff Jarvis' convention assignment sounds like fun too. In addition if I get tired of it I can always go spend time with friends in New York or maybe Phili. I am pretty sure I can sleep at a friend's house so no hotel room. Wi-Fi is everywhere in New York so connectivity shouldn't be a problem. All that remains is I need to get my laptop fixed so I will be able to blog it.
