After McCain's campaign announcement some former Hill staffers and myself started the McCain dead pool, guess the campaign end date. Actually it started when the news of Ron Paul had more campaign funds than McCain. Contrary to what the Arizona TV news channels were running last night, his campaign is over were I just waiting on the formal announcement.
Of course Special Agent Johnny Utah has the best comment on the situtation. Makes me wonder, how long does it take for Straight Talk to go to Straight BS, about 8 years evidently. Wednesday, June 6

Especially when they don't know the terminology in their own legislation. Some days I am really happy I don't work in DC anymore.

SWAT Monkey, I had two immediate thoughts.
will they be mounted with frickin lasers? SWAT Monkey - that funky Monkey SWAT Monkey - junkie That funky Monkey... I am sure Anonymous Mike will have something to say about the City of Mesa's tax dollars at work...watch for it. ps - One could suppose the reason the city of Mesa is looking to monkeys for intelligence is they don't have enough in the city government *ponder* Thursday, February 8

Works for websites, just as much construction. I remember be very careful to double check ANYTHING before I ever posted to the website for the office I worked for. Just to avoid this sort of embaressment. Made my day, I am still laughing!
Postscript - Expresso Pundit's page isn't work so here is the page he notes that has incorrect information. Pay particular attention to the Flag and Intern sections and compare member names. Greg says that staff is blaming it on the IT department, but as someone who handled a Member's homepage I always had access to go in, change or modify the page at anytime I liked. Also that the staff didn't double check the site before putting it online speaks poorly of their work. Update - They got it fixed. Thursday, February 1

I am not the biggest fan of the media and these guys make them look like the jackels they generally seem to be. I am sure their lawyer said to not to talk about the case. I am sure this was not what he had in mind, but it works beautifully.
ps - If the charges were for being vandals the prosecutor may have a case, but the current charges are silly and will be quickly dropped if anyone with common sense looks at the case. (But I am not holding my breath) Thursday, October 26

Haven't had a JimmyT post in a while, but these highlights of his one minute speeches is worth a quick read.
